Mission, Vision, and Values

Mission

We aim to train researchers in the areas of preventive veterinary medicine, food safety, and animal welfare to prepare them for work in official veterinary services, industry, research institutes, universities, non-governmental organizations, and various agribusiness production chains, using their knowledge to develop and implement new techniques, products, and public policies aimed at increasing agribusiness productivity in a sustainable manner and guaranteeing the health and welfare of animal populations, protection of the environment and species diversity, and human health.

Vision

To be a national and international reference in human resource formation and generation of knowledge, methodologies, products, and public policies in preventive veterinary medicine, food safety, and animal welfare.
